Etsy, ect.

I am trying my best to keep this ball rolling. Between website, blogs, etsy, facebook and pinterest I don't have a spare minute. And besides all of that I am suppose to be creative. wow......

I was going to start my etsy shop up again and I wanted a snazzy banner not one that etsy provides. I was told by my daughter (successful photographer) that I should match everything so that when someone sees me they will know that I am Reallyrosey. So that etsy thing has been on a back burner. Funny.......I can sell things on it but I am more interested in who is saying what about who on Facebook or whats new on Pinterest. So I decided to get the banner together on etsy but was afraid to mess it up. I called a friends daughter/law and asked her if she could help. She did her mom's banner so I figured she knew what she was doing. It took her about 10 minutes. Thanks again Kelley. It was so sweet of her to help me out!

So now I am busy adding my products to my shop. Funny...when you look at it you can really see the difference between the professional pictures that Blondecow Photography took and the dark yucky pics that I took. I know when my daughter sees them that I will be in trouble! oh well, I have been there before!

Another Year!

It has been a long time since my last post. Over a year to be exact. I could say I have been busy and making millions but the truth is that I had forgotton about the blog! I am busy enough with my business and also with my granddaughters. And did i forget to mention Facebook and also Pinterest? When you get on to all of these things days could pass without you noticing! But I have a new year and I am going to try to be a little more professional with the business & blog! I am also going to get my Etsy shop up and running again. It is hard to do everything when you are having fun with your extra corricular things!

Finally, I have taken a picture of the flags that I make. This set is matching the decor of my sewing room. I have made several sets and out of all kinds of fabrics! I love them!
I have been decorating or cleaning and redecorating this room for awhile. But I will keep at it until I get it right. I am in this room a lot so it kinda "gets to me". I love red and white.....and red and yellow.....and red and anything!

i have spent the day today finishing some of my unfinished projects. i finished 4 dresses. two for my granddaughters and two for my website. i also made some pendants....some people call them flags. i made some for my granddaughters rooms and have also made them for a baby shower. everyone loves them. i can remember these when i was a little girl at all the used car lots. of course, they were made of plastic and would draw your eye to the car lot. i just make them now to add a little color to the top of the wall or the ceiling area of the childs bedroom. i liked them so much that i had to make some for myself. my sewing room is boring to say the least. white walls, yawn, and not much else. so recently i tore down the white curtains and made these nice red and white print curtains. a slight improvment. the other day i looked at the left over piece of fabric and dug into a bin and found a red and white stripe to match...... i sat looking at both fabrics and decided to make my own flags. i love them!

Bush Gardens

My husband and I took the two granddaughters to Bush Gardens a couple of weeks ago. It was a hot day! But they had a good time and when they get back from their vacation we hope to do it again! Nice living in Florida where we have season passes.

Happy 4th of July, Everyone

Well, I made a flag today. Not exactly like the one that Betsy Ross made but Everyone got the drift around here. My favorite tv chef or cooking show is Barefoot Contessa. I found this in one of her books. ( i have 4 of her books) I decided to make the cake. I substituted Strawberries instead of Raspberries but it was ok.......but tasted just great! Thanks Ina!
We went to the bayfront in Sarasota and watched great fireworks with the whole family. What a great day! Happy Birthday America.
