You sit and ponder or is it think what the new year will bring. Last year was not one of the best for many people. I am included in that. One of the worse things that happened was loosing my father. He wasn't young and death is not unexpected. But his death was so sudden. His died due to hospital neglect. Nothing can be done about it now. He is missed.
The whole country is also suffering loss. Loss of jobs and incomes. I really hope that things pick up and those that want to work are able. We are included in this package. My husbands work has slowed down but so far we are still able to pay bills. This is a good thing!
But the best thing that I had happen in '08 is that I received a special Christmas present from my daughter and son/law. I got another grand-daughter. She was born on the 19th of December and is truly beautiful. She looks exactly like her older sister which means that they are both beautiful, of course.
So this year has been a rough one but in the end it turned out great with new life. Let's hope that there will be new life for all of us, the country and the world.
